Our COVID-19 Policy

We understand that COVID-19 has left many of us unsure as to when we will be able to travel again, and apprehensive about planning future holidays. Pictus Safaris have taken the following steps to give you peace of mind when booking your next safari.

1. COVID Compliance

We take every effort to ensure that all of our safaris are COVID compliant, including the use of facemasks indoors, and frequent sanitisation of vehicles and accommodation. 

2. Refund Policy

If your safari is cancelled due to travel bans in your home country, or our destination country, you will be entitled to a full refund, to delay your safari, or to transfer paid funds to another Pictus Safaris holiday. This will be communicated to you 30 days prior to your holiday start date. In the case that travel is not possible due to a positive COVID test returned by a member of your party, or a mandatory quarantine period enforced in your home country, we would be delighted to transfer you to a later departure of any Pictus Safaris holiday.

3. Flexible Payments and Waitlisting

Flexibility is key, and we will happily discuss any and all payment options with you - this includes but not limited to delayed deposit payments, payment of the full balance rather than the payment of a deposit, and delayed payment of the balance for your trip. We may not always be able to honour your request, as we are sometimes held to payment schedules by our ground partners, but we will make every attempt to take your requests into account. If you do not wish to pay any funds towards your trip right now, we will gladly waitlist you free of charge until such a point where we believe it is very likely the safari will go ahead.
